Circulators
Circulators, also known as boiler pumps, are devices whose function is to push and conduct water through the radiator circuit or to hot water taps when required. The circulator is an important instrument in the heating system: if the instrument fails, the heating system stops working.
There are two main types of pumps: mechanically sealed electric pumps and wet rotor circulators, i.e. with the motor installed directly in the pump body. The advantage of the latter is that they are less bulky and are very quiet. You can choose between two types: wet rotor circulators or electronic wet rotor circulators, for energy savings and lower consumption.
Each pump, as well as each boiler, has specific characteristics, especially if the boiler is new or old. Buying the right component is therefore crucial!
